FAQ Quick Menu:

What's the purpose of ShoppersBonus.com.au? Are there any fees?

ShoppersBonus.com.au is an online guide that lists a selected range of current competitons and offers, available in Australia.

On top of this, Shoppers Bonus offers extensive information and opinions on just about anything to do with comps, and totally FREE to join and use!

How often is Shoppers Bonus updated?

We tend to add 10 competitions a week, sometimes more.

Do I have have to become a member?

You can look around at any time, but access to the guide and exclusive competitions will require you to join.

Joining only takes a few minutes, and the only info we need from you is an email address (which you need to confirm)

What's types of competitions and offers does ShoppersBonus.com.au list?

ShoppersBonus.com.au mostly concentrates on competitions (known as sweepstakes or contests in other parts of the world), however we also highlight various other promotions which may contain special offers, deals, discounts, coupons, giveaways and vouchers.

What's the catch? How can this be FREE?

Unlike most other comp sites in which you pay to join, our site is funded by sponsors .... not you.

What's different about ShoppersBonus.com.au?

There are other competitions sites in the market, and they're not hard to find. Many charge a yearly fee, others don't. Some sites can contain over 2,000 competitions.

Sounds good, but there are so many trashy comps to work through you'll get a headache. ShoppersBonus.com.au figures that at any time there are no more than 50 (tops) competitions worth entering.

Another thing, ShoppersBonus.com.au is headed by a true insider from the promotion industry (see the about us page), not a competition enthusiast.

By joining Shoppers Bonus comp-lete do I get bombarded with spam?

Joining Shoppers Bonus comp-lete does mean that you are going to receive some emails. You will receive a maxiumum 3-4 emails in a week which isn't much considering the value we offer.

Can I unsubscribe from the mailing list?

You can at any time, simply by following the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any ShoppersBonus.com.au email.

Opting out of the mailing list means you won't have access to the guide, plus any entries you have placed in exclusive competitions will be canceled.

I want to receive your ShoppersBonus.com.au updates but aren't getting them?

This means your spam setting is probably doing the it's job a little too well. Depending on your email settings you can list the email address news@shoppersbonus.com.au as a trusted site. It doesn't always work, but give it a shot.

Hotmail will list mail from ShoppersBonus.com.au in the Junk box. Simply "mark as safe"

Gmail and Bigpond at this stage treats our email as standard.

Yahoo seems fine, but seems to take forever to arrive .....

I can't access some of your guide listings?

Again, this can be an internet security problem. Try disengaging your internet security program and try again.

How can I contact ShoppersBonus.com.au?

Either on the Contact page, or by emailing info@shoppersbonus.com.au directly.

Can I contact you if I have any questions about competitions listed on ShoppersBonus.com.au?

We can answer any question on any competitions that are marked as exclusive? Any other issues you'll need to take up with the promoter (refer terms and conditions of each competition)

Having said this, if there's anything incorrect please let us know.

Why doesn't ShoppersBonus.com.au have a forum?

A couple of reasons. Firstly, forums seem to attract listings on thousands of competitions, and we figure you want something more substantial than a school raffle.

Secondly, ShoppersBonus.com.au actively discourages all forms of cheating such as entry form swapping, answer and barcode giving etc. We do however support fair and equal entry.

I'm having trouble joining ......

You need to log on to your nominated email address and click on the registration link. You will be required to input the numeric code from the registration email.

I've changed email addresses, what do I do?

On a ShoppersBonus.com.au new or closing competitions email you will find an unsubscribe link. Follow the unsubscribe process.

Then simply re-register under your new email address.

Can I suggest a competition for listing?

You can suggest a competition at any time. If it sounds good enough it will be listed in the guide.

What if my business wants to list a competition, what do I do?

Firstly, we can't guarantee a listing on ShoppersBonus.com.au but we will review any submission we receive.

I'm getting multiple newsletters and updates!

This can happen if you've entered competitions under various emails in the past.

To fix this, simply unsubscribe from any email received from each address that you don't want emails to be received from.

Why not have a gallery of winners of your exclusive competitions?

We did (for a while), unfortunately it wasn't exactly a hit.

Yes, the page was visited, however most winners weren't prepared to have a photo of themselves displayed. If this changes we'll reinsert the gallery.
